Joe is a 19 year old English singer from South Shields, Newcastle.
What has he done?
Joe rose to fame by being crowned the UK's latest X Factor winner in 2009, beating off stiff competition from Olly Murs and Stacey Soloman. He went on to release his debut single, a cover of Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb' which was beaten to the Christmas #1 spot by the Rage Against The Machine internet campaign, although it did reach the #1 spot a week later. McElderry also took part in the X Factor tour and performed at Radio 1's Big Weekend.
What's he up to now?
Joe has just released the lead single, 'Ambitions' from his debut album, 'Wide Awake' which charted at #6 in its first week of release. He returned to the X Factor at the beginning of this year's live shows to perform the track and this week 'Wide Awake' hits the shelves and is now looking at a #2 charting, not bad when up against well established act 'Kings Of Leon.'

What should we be expecting?
Joe will be promoting his 'Wide Awake' LP in the upcoming weeks, as well as releasing the second single from the album, 'Someone Wake Me Up.' There have also been rumours of talks with Disney which would see McElderry land a huge contract. We also envisage Joe becoming a gay role model after coming out in July of this year.

Who is she?
Emily is an 18 year old singer and actress from America.
What has she done?
Emily rose to fame by co-starring in kids' film 'Spy Kids 2: Island Of Lost Dreams' and its sequel 'Spy Kids 3: Game Over.' On top of this, Emily starred alongside Miley Cyrus in hit Disney show Hannah Montana.
What's she up to now?
After recording some teen pop songs with Hannah Montana co-star Mitchel Musso, she has recently recorded her own debut album titled 'Fight Or Flight,' with lead single 'Let's Be Friends.'
What should we be expecting?
We're thinking a Miley/Selena Gomez style career, her music is definitely in the same kind of line, although a bit more bubblegum pop. She definitely has talent and her album is packed with addictive pop tunes. Providing she gets a decent break we could be hearing a lot more from her, in any case, she's hot property on tv and a hit with kids so expect to see her popping up again soon.
