Kid’s animation ‘Despicable Me’ has maintained its place at the top of the Australian boxoffice, taking over $1million more than its closest rival, a new entry at #2, ‘Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga’Hoole.’
The 3D owl adventure has shunned last week’s #2, ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ down to #4, just below ‘The Last Airbender.’ ‘Diary Of A Wimpy Kid’ has leapt up the chart from #8 to round off the top 5.
The only other new entry this week lies with ‘Dinner For Schmucks’ which opens with $1.06million in ticket sales and takes the #7 place, ahead of ‘The Other Guys,’ ‘Easy A’ and ‘Tomorrow, When The War Began’ which round off the top 10.
