A work in progress

Welcome to The Ice, Spice and Vice Files!

Here we aim to provide you with 7 full length and detailed reviews, one for each day of the week, of the highlights (or lowlights as the case may be) of the following week's single releases.

You will also find plenty of other features, including the UK midweeks singles chart which is updated daily, roundups of both the international music and boxoffice charts, a glance at the X Factor UK, a 'Who's On Top?' magazine section as well as some other treats too, such as our 'Star Power' featured artist page and 'Introducing...' page.

As always, if there's something you want us to review or feature, just let us know via email or comment and we'll try and sort something out. We're very friendly like that ;-)

In Love and light

UK Midweek Charts Roundup - Thursday 14th Oct

Hello chart beans! Remember yesterday when we said check back tomorrow to see if Duck Sauce can beat Cee-Lo and whether Joe could finally crack the top 3?! Well guess what...none of these things have happened. We know, it’s all looking a bit dull on the chart front today.

Cee-Lo is still sitting (not so) pretty at the top spot, followed by Duck Sauce, Bruno Mars, Joe McElderry and Tinie Temper in that order. Just the same as yesterday really. Whatever happened to those good old chart battles of yore hmmm?

Towards the lower end of the chart, Pixie Lott still finds herself in the middle an interesting sandwich between Travie McCoy at #10 and Usher at #11...Not sure whether she’s a lucky girl or not :S

As there’s not much going down on the singles front, we thought we’d cast a rare glance at those albums, where it’s apparent that you were right to select Robbie as this week’s Star Power, as he’s already topping the albums chart, ahead of Tinie Tempah’s ‘The Discovery’ at #2 and Cliff’s ‘Bold As Brass’ at #3. The Script and Magnetic Man make up the rest of the top 5. What a mix.

Check back tomorrow to see if anything's changed...but let's not hold our breath...
