UK Boxoffice Chart Roundup - 21st Sept

So it’s time for another of our brand new features, a look at this week’s UK boxoffice chart!
Shooting up the top ten to the top spot is ‘The Other Guys,’ the Will Ferrell starring cop comedy, which, taking almost £2m from UK sales, more than doubles the total raked in by its nearest competitor ‘Devil,’ a new entry at #2.

Last week’s top three movies, ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife,’ ‘Toy Story 3,’ and ‘Grown Ups’ consequently move down to the #3, #4 and #5 spots respectively.

Comedies ‘Marmaduke’ and ‘Diary Of A Wimpy Kid’ both climb back into the bottom end of the top 10 chart, pushing past their #11 and #12 spots of last week. Scott Pilgrim vs The World falls four places to complete the top 10.

The UK Boxoffice Chart Roundup in full:

1. (-) The Other Guys - £1,980,601
2. (-) Devil - £807,292
